2 news. >>> happening now, crews with the san francisco puc are working on treasure island to fix a water main break. happened around 7:00 tonight right in front of the main great on the island. it appears that most of treasure island is without water service at this time. we're talked to a puc spokesperson about 30 minutes ago and he said it is not clear how long it'll take to fix the break or how long the water service is going to be done. >> the alameda police have arrested the arrest of two teenager for the murder of a woman. one has been identified cody natosha and other is a 16-year- old. detectives say they left after the killing, had lunch, then returned to the home and set it on fire. >> later on that evening they realized there was a dead body in this home and they may have left some evidence behind. >> the two suspects appeared in court but did not enter pleas. both teenagers are being tried as adults. >>> the fire started in a home in andover street and quickly spread to a neighbor's house causing nearly half a million dollars in damage. 16 people were displaced. one w

come in time for halloween. >> following developing news out of san francisco right now. a woman is badly injured after a shooting and a car crash. >> reporter: it happened just before four this morning in city's western edition neighborhood. according to a detective a 30- year-old woman who was driving this car, you see flipped over -- that's now in the process of getting towed. she was shot four times and while on the way to the hospital she said she had been trying to park when she heard and felt the gun fire. police have been searching through the crime scene since early this morning marking shell casings and bullet holes. they say there were two shooters involve though they don't have any suspect descriptions. based on where all the shell casings are it seems to indicate that the shooters walked up to the car and opened fire. one of the detectives said they don't think it was a random attack. they suspect woman had a connection to the people who shot her. as far the woman's condition he is expected to survive. she was taken to the hospital and is having surgery and is in st

in san francisco. it started at the back of the building at the bay view hunters point building. a rear bedroom was damaged. everyone got out safely and they kept the flames from spreading to adjacent homes. it's been more than 24 hours since a pilot and his plan went missing after taking off from half-moon bay. the single engine plane left around 6 in the morning yesterday. the pilot heading down to tucson arizona but never made it. the plane is similar to this one here with a tail number n72ah. it is registered to man bay the name of of andrew haden out of florida. his wife reported him missing after the plane didn't make a fuel stop in apple valley. >>> four separate shootings in oakland in one afternoon and evening. six people are injured. the most serious incident happened just before 10 last night in east oakland. one victim has critical injuries. earlier two other people were shot in east oakland. in addition one person was wounded near lake merritt and they are all in stable condition. >>> a court appointed monitor has harsh words saying department leaders are backsliding on ref

in the west. i was up late watching the baseball game and it ended in a downpour in san francisco. congratulations to the giants. as far as yesterday went, we had severe storms that even produced some small tornadoes. they didn't do too much damage, blew over a couple things here and there, knocked off a couple of shingles on the roof, knocked over an 18-wheeler. reports of a couple funnel clouds and tornadoes outside sacramento. today we could see similar conditions, probably not as dynamic as yesterday. we got heavy rain for this month of october already. two to three inches in the northwest. a half inch in san francisco. none of that has made its way down to southern l.a. upper level low still spinning off the coast. in other words, it's still a mess out there. many areas of rain. interstate 80 is a little better. up around tahoe it's still coming down hard. the cold front cleared out. the snow levels have lowered. showers from eureka to crescent city. a more concentrated area of rain through the washington coastline. we are going to keep it kind of stormy here. we may get brea

are from san francisco, a man and woman in their 20s were killed. they haven't released their names. investigators are having a tough time they don't have much information they don't know whether the pair was walking or taken by car. they have interviewed people and have a few descriptions of a car leaving the area but they are all different. they haven't made any arrests and don't have suspects. >> i'm alarmed. i don't know what -- i feel safe most of the time.
